Next Epicenter Meeting this Friday
This Friday come join us for a time of worship with the music being led by Joy Blinson and Shaun Price will be speaking. I'm crazy excited as i have never heard Shaun speak even though i've known him for about two years now. In case you don't know his name he's the guy with the long red hair that usually has some type of crazy facial hair. Come at 9:30 to hang out and grab some free drinks and eats. We'll be finished around 11:00 and who knows here we'll go from there.

Scot's thoughts on the first Epicenter
I thought last night went really well. With a little over 20 people present it was less than previous Epicenters. I, for one, am pretty okay with that. Since the focus is on intimacy and edification small numbers can actually be a good thing. Since i wasn't in the small groups i don't know everything that went down but hopefully there was a good time of sharing and growing closer to each other. I look forward to seeing how we develop as a group and hopefully get more involved with the ministries of our churches.
The projection bulb burnt out before we started so thats why we didn't have words up. And though there were times of fumbling through the words i actually really liked not staring at a screen for once. We might just handout the words and see how that goes. I also want to encourage everyone that if they are ever in a situation where words are being sung to a worship song that you don't know, don't worry about it. Use that opportunity to just hear the words and ponder their meaning. Sometimes i think we can get so used to singing familiar words that we miss the opportunity to just be blown away at how profound they are.

Assassin
Objectives:
1) Be the sole surviving Assassin.
2) Assassinate as many of your targets as you can before being eliminated.
Weaponry:
Your personal sqirt-gun, hose, water, bucket, straw, or any water projectile device.
Guidelines:
-The person who has your name is your “Assassin” the name you have is your “Target”
-Each person gets one “Target” at the start of the game.
-If your Assassin causes pure H20 to get on you in any way or on any part of your clothing (except book bags, purses, or fanny packs) you are “killed” and therefore out of the game.
-When you get “killed” you are to shout out the name of your target then pass your target info sheet to your Assassin.
-Your former target now becomes your assassin’s target.
-Have your Target sheet readily available so you can pass it on to the next person and identify yourself as your Target’s Assassin.
-You can only be “killed” by the Assassin who has your name. They must show you the Target Sheet with your name on it before you are to give them your Target Sheet.
-Squirting those whose name you do not have is strongly discouraged as it will only create confusion.
-If your Target is able to squirt you before you squirt them then they have one hour where they can’t be “killed.”
-You may “kill” your target on their way from class or work but not on their way to class or work.
-No “kills” are allowed inside any Southeastern building.
-Be respectful of the property of others (WWJD “Where Would Jesus Drench”)
- You must e-mail a current picture of yourself with your full name by Wednesday Aug 22 to epicenternc@yahoo.com.
-Everyone will then receive their Targets within the next few days. You may start as soon as you get it.
-The game ensues until there is only one Assassin left “alive.” Or until the Scot declares an end.
- A Prize will be given to the Assassin who gets the most kills and to the last Assassin left.
-Any questions call Scot Randolph @ (304)629-3646 0r e-mail epicenternc@yahoo.com.
